What is a billable unit?

One unit is one item the API does billable work for — not necessarily one HTTP request.

  • Keyless traffic is not metered monthly — it stays under the fixed 60 requests/min/IP limit.
  • A client-side retry is a new request and bills again; retries the service performs internally never count.
  • Autocomplete is priced like any other request — it is the same index work.
  • The monthly quota resets at midnight on the 1st of the month, Europe/Warsaw — never by the server's own clock.

Thresholds and exhaustion

Check usage any time via GET /v1/usage. We notify at the thresholds — once per threshold, once per period.

Distinct from the per-minute rate limit (rate_limit_exceeded) — existing clients already back off on 429; the body says why.

VAT and billing

Listed prices are net — they do not include VAT. The rate depends on the buyer's status (consumer / Polish business / EU entity) and is settled on the invoice. Billing is monthly.

How to get access

2Receive the keyThe operator approves the request; a one-time e-mail link creates the client and shows the key exactly once.
